The Power to Persuade

I was delighted to be invited in July to contribute to the Power to Persuade blog, outlining some of the background context and challenges in my PhD research – on mental health police contact deaths.

Power to Persuade is an Australian based platform to discussion social policy – they describe themselves as “social policy whisperers”, which I think is a great description.

You can read my post here and the wider blog really is worth checking out.

I try to keep this blog up to date, but inevitably over time, amendments to the law as well as court rulings and other findings from inquests and complaints processes mean it is difficult to ensure all the articles and pages remain current.  Please ensure you check all legal issues in particular and take appropriate professional advice where necessary.
